Who Stayed in Town

Great and prominent people who had stayed in Pakil such as Dr.
Jose Rizal, Philippines' National Hero (in the Regalado"s during the Turumba season);
Virginia Llamas Romulo, the wife of Gen. Carlos P. Romulo (with the Bueno's during the Second World War) ; and the parents of Ex-President Corazon C. Aquino, particularly in Monterey Gardens (the Isorena's).

During the shooting of the Holywood movie "Apocalypse Now" in Casareal, prominent actors of such movies shoot for some time.
